Makayla's first dance recital

Makayla has been taking a dance class for a few months now and loves it. This is a video of her first little dance recital. It is so cute. Her teacher is the owner of the dance studio and also her primary teacher. Mark went in late to work that day so he could see her dance, and Gavin got to sluf school.

The cutest giggles ever!!

We all just get a kick out of Chloe laughing. She likes to growl a lot for those of you who may not know and it kind of comes out in her laugh. She is such a GREAT baby. She makes #3 SO easy to have. I know that there is an underlying reason for that.....

Bok Bok Bok

Here is our Makayla. Her birthday was last month and this was one of her gifts. It is pet shops and as you can see she is hugging it. She loves pet shops. But the moral of this story is....today when we were leaving the gym we walked out behind what I am sure was a very lovely young woman who just happens to have a mullet down to her butt, sides of her head shaved and about a 5 inch mohawk on the top. Makayla says to me "Mommy she looks like a chicken!" It is a good thing that woman was far enough a way to not hear me belt out with laughter. Holy crap that was so funny!! Way to be observant Kaylers!!

Thanks for your example!

Gavin is really proud of himself for doing the splits so well. He is so close to touching the floor.

Just to preface this story......Gavin and I have taken Karate since August and we go to an amazing woman who takes the art of it very seriously. She is from Korea I believe. Anyways because she is "the best of the best" I pay her for it....ya know what I mean. So I have not been able to bring myself to spend the money to get him a Gi (I think that is how it is spelled) as we still have a little bit of debt that we can't seem to get out of! We were planning on getting him one as a Christmas gift though. So last week when Gavin and I went to Karate, Gavin runs in before me as he always does cuz his mom is getting decreped. As I walked in Mrs. Oh was putting a uniform on him. She asked me if I thought he needed a smaller size or if the one she had on him would be fine and he could grow into it a little bit. She said that it was a gift from someone and they wanted to remain anonymous. I was speechless, everything she said to me after that I remember as just a blur. As were were doing our exercises and our kicks and all that she has us do, Gavin was just grinning from ear to ear the whole time. The happiness I saw in his face was priceless. Something I will never forget.
As we were driving home I thought this would be a perfect time to explain what a Christlike gesture this was. I couldn't help but tear up as I explained how unselfish this person was. I told him that he needed to remember the example this person has set, and that he should not ever forget the kindness that this person has showed to him. I am sure I will never know who did this for Gavin, but I am grateful for their generosity and will make sure and pay it forward sometime in the future. Here are some more pics of Gavin showing off his moves.

Hot Hunk of a Balding Man

So I sent an e mail to all those who I thought might be interested in my blog and it just so happened that one girl (whose name I will change to Natalie, for her own protection....) sent me her link to her blog. Well I clicked on it and found a huge bunch of people on her blog list that I knew. So I visited them all and HOLY CRAP! This blog thing is out of control! Somebody call Obama.....(I don't know why I just thought that sounded funny!) Anyways my eyes have been opened I have seen the light and am now going to blog my life away! And stamp my life away with my stampin' buddies, and kiss my life away with my hot hunk of a balding man!! And live my life away with my freaking adorable children who everyday make me marvel!

A surprise trip to San Fransisco

I surprised Mark with a trip to San Fransisco. It was supposed to be a get-a-way for him graduating from school. He decided to go on and get his masters degree. So turns out it was just a huge glorified date! He did not have a clue. I wrote on the bathroom mirror with lipstick telling him to come back to bed cuz he was not going in to work that day. At first he was kind of ticked. He said "any day but today I have two big meetings" I said "sorry you don't have a choice" We drove to Kaysville and switched cars and Gerald then took us to the airport. He didn't stay mad for long. The above pic of Mark is him on the trolley. The ones below are of us on our romantic dinner cruise. It was so fun. The most interesting part though was the newly married lesbian couple celebrating their first dance........

There is a flower on my salad I thought was cool. Wasn't sure if it was edible or not. I didn't try. The food was really good.
